The Citadel needed a responsive website that would translate well into mobile and tablet browsers. Their homepage was dated and needed a modern and appealing refresh, without compromising the conservative, military feel that matched their brand. A congested homepage, unusable navigation and confusing hierarchy were among the issues that we set out to fix.
A clean and fully responsive site would increase their page time and help their users find pertinent information. After thorough research into the brand and company as a whole, we created concepts, wireframes and templates to present to the client.
Our team went above and beyond, with carousels, responsive modules, SEO optimization, a rebuilt navigation, and even a new brand message, “Dare to Lead”. We also worked with the Citadel IT team and consulted during database migration.
After the launch of their new website, The Citadel’s traffic increased by 29%. Their SEO score increased by 12.8% within just a week of launch. We provided video walkthroughs and access to our help system, which has a 100% resolution rate for tickets submitted and a 77% FCR percentage. Our icons and graphics helped guide user interaction to preferred content areas and their website now worked seamlessly throughout all devices.
